Guns don't kill people, Vice Presidents do
Uncle Dick is on the hunt
I know that hunting accidents, while not extremely common, happen with some regularity. I can accept trigger happy teenagers and overly embibed, pot bellied men unintentially putting unwanted air vents in their hunting buddies. But when the VP of the United States of America shoots a guy in the face inside of 30 yards, I'm obliged to say "Huh?"
How exactly does this happen? And more to the point, why did we not know about until the next day? There was no official Whitehouse statement on the matter until after the ranch owner spoke to a small Texas newspaper about the incident. Did they actually think that the public wouldn't care that the VP nearly killed a man, accidental or not?
The victim, while still in the hospital, is expected to make a full recovery so everything is a little humorous now, but what if?
