Christmas Craziness
In case you haven't heard about it yet, check this out ...
Andy Samberg is a funny guy who first gained Internet cred for the hilarious Lazy Sunday. He may, in fact, be the only funny thing about SNL these days.
The best thing about this video is how close it is to reality. Today's R&B music, especially the crud spewed by boy bands, is not the cool stuff you heard back in the 70's with the Ojays or the Cleveland Players. Then it was about implied sex and creative innuendo. I mean, how sexy is Barry White's voice anyway? Now it's undisguised sexual crudeness mixed with random grunts, uhs, yeahs, and mmms. It sucks. This video is made especially funny with the addition of Justin Timberlake, one of the worst offenders in modern R&B music. Here, though, he rocks!Curiously, NBC posted the uncensored version themselves soon after the censored version ran last Saturday night. Hopefully that will start a trend for broadcast networks to get a little edgier with their programming, knowing that they have channels like YouTube that will create great buzz for their shows.
